Research Goals
Striving to pursue novel and exciting research questions by integrating developmental and circuit neuroscience approaches.

Development of social behaviors
I am interested in uncovering the developmental events that give rise to social behaviors. Especially, understanding how social sensory information is processed during infancy and adolescence.
Early-life adversity
Early-life adversity (ELA) can lead to long-lasting neurological and behavioral consequences. I aim to elucidate how neuronal circuits are disrupted during ELA and develop interventions to prevent associated mental illnesses.

Social Circuit connectivity
I aim to pursue a brain-wide approach to uncover the circuit mechanisms for the generation of innate social behaviors, including aggression and mating, across sexes.
